Bern is the Swiss capital nobody visits and the locals are quite happy about that. The whole old town is UNESCO, you can float down the Aare river in summer, and the pace is gentle. Two days is plenty.

- Aare river swim - locals walk up, float down, repeat.

- Zentrum Paul Klee museum if you like modern art.
- Evening.
- Drinks in the Lorraine district.

One local tip nobody tells you
Aare river swimming is the local summer thing. Get a waterproof bag, walk to Marzili, float down, dont swim past the exit point.
