While everyone descends on Vienna and Nuremberg for Christmas markets, Tallinn quietly puts on one of the best - in a medieval town square, with snow that actually shows up, and crowds you can move through. Pair it with hot wine and almonds and youre set.

Town Hall Square market, climb a tower for the view.
Evening.
Dinner at Rataskaevu 16, last market stalls before close.

Morning.
Telliskivi Creative City for a different vibe.
Afternoon.
Back to town for last market visit, gluhwein.
Evening.
Easy departure.

One local tip nobody tells you

Get the gluhwein in the Town Hall Square but go just before closing time - locals come then, the queues are gone.
